As young Link, Mamamu Yan and her dog, Richard, can be seen in the Castle Town market square in the daytime. At night, there is a pack of dogs in the the square. A number of dogs in The Minish Cap actually have names and oftentimes Link is able to fuse Kinstones with them.
- Fifi - Found at Stockwell's House in Lake Hylia, Fifi is lonely as her owner Stockwell comes home late from work.
- Growler - Found at the west end of Hyrule Town, Growler serves as a barrier earlier in the game.
- Rolf - Found inside of Romio's house. Rolf doesn't like Julietta's cat Scratcher.
