:Hi Hylian King. I didn't know ZeldaWiki.org changed its policy on image sourcing. It originally didn't have a policy, and then we implemented one back in... Circa 2008-09, and then ended up getting rid of it in 2009 after long debate. For the main reason being, most of the images in question were from official artwork pieces released by Nintendo, scans from magazines, or images extracted from games such as models and screens. Thus, I believe Fan Artwork was the only time of image work that had been credited.

Skyward Sword Pages

Hi Mases,

I was browsing to see what other Skyward Sword pages were needed, and I noticed that the Amber Relic was on the list, however, I have already edited the Amber Relic. I think I know why, but... It's a little odd. The page I edited was titled Amber relic. The one that's needed is Amber Relic. One is capitalized in both words, and the other isn't. So... What should I do? Zelda geek 14:01, October 27, 2011 (CDT)

I moved the page to the correct Amber Relic title. Thanks for pointing that out. << Locke(T·C) >> 14:18, October 27, 2011 (CDT)
This is something that normal users can't do, so please continue to notify patrollers (orange names) or administrators (green names) via their talk page for problems like this. << Locke(T·C) >> 15:34, October 27, 2011 (CDT)
Should we not just place a redirect in the page and move all of the information to a new page? -InoShikaCho-(Talk) 16:14, October 27, 2011 (CDT)
It's best to move the page so that edit history is carried over to the new page. << Locke(T·C) >> 16:24, October 27, 2011 (CDT)

Walkthrough Pages

I have noticed that many of the pages for the Ocarina of Time dungeons have full walkthroughs for the dungeons. This obviously does not belong on the wiki (or at least on these pages). Is it fine to delete them, or should I move them to a new location? -InoShikaCho-(Talk) 21:00, October 27, 2011 (CDT)

Don't remove them yet, please. Those are pages for the Zelda Dungeon Master Quest walkthrough that was written when this wiki was for more staff matters. We'll work on getting them in their proper places. — ~David (Talk) 21:10, October 27, 2011 (CDT)

Index Page

Hey Mases,

I think that we should edit the main page a little bit. What do you think though? -Ninten* 15:54, December 30, 2011 (CST)

I definitely think the index page needs a revamp. It's been talked about, but feel free to try some things out on your own sandbox page first and we'll see how it goes. Mases 00:04, December 31, 2011 (CST)

Three Things

Hey Mases three Things
1.How do you find out a youtube ID so more videos could be added to the Wiki quicker
2.Should there be a Walkthrough page on the Wiki?
3.Please make a Video Walkthrough for The Minish Cap! Please! Thank you!

File types

Hey Mases, The wiki files only have photo files. However, I think the wiki should also except MP3 Files. This is because people who never played let's say, minish cap could listen to the mount crenal music. they could also hear sound effects like navi so they understand how annoying she is. (and it would make the site more wiki-like)! Your Truly, Noop3451 (Talk|Contribs|Uplds) 11:51, May 31, 2012 (CDT)

Add other spin-off titles to the navigation bar

You should add other completed spin-off games page such as Tingle's Balloon Fight DS, Too Much Tingle Pack, The Legend of Zelda Game Watch, and Zelda (Game & Watch) to the navigation bar of ZD. Other Games navigation bar currently only have 2 games added...

Items for Faron Province

Hi Mases! I see you are on alot for this Wiki, so I think you might know the answer for my question. When adding the items to this page (Skyward Sword), should I include the Goddess Cubes or not? Also, should I put every item you recieve with in the Faron Province (Beetle, Water Scale, etc) or should we leave those items for the dungeon/area you get them (Skyview Temple/etc)?  the preceding unsigned post by Odd300 (contribs) at 14:14, October 18, 2012‎ (UTC)

I'm not sure if I'm understanding your question correctly, but Goddess Cubes can be included in item lists. The Skyward Sword page already has these items, so I assume you mean the pages for different areas in SS such as Faron Province. I'm not sure how useful an item list would be for the regions, but I suppose it makes sense to include items you receive in sub-regions, such as dungeons, to an extent. You do receive the Beetle in Faron Province even if it's within Skyview Temple specifically, but it wouldn't make sense to list certain things like Small Keys. << Locke(T·C) >> 13:27, October 18, 2012 (CDT)
Thanks for answering my questions, Locke. I see now that my second question doesn't make that much sense.

Korean release date templates

Can you or another admin create the template necessary for adding Korean release dates to game and console pages? I'm asking because in all other wikis I've been to, admins are the only people that can make such changes, so I think that applies to this wiki, too. Wwtoonlinkfan 15:32, November 20, 2012 (CST)

Thanks, we're editing the Template right now to include Korea. Locke edited the template and we just uploaded the image. Thanks. Mases 15:53, November 20, 2012 (CST)
Check out the {{Release}} documentation for adding Korean release dates. For example, {{Release|kr|y=2012|m=11|d=18}} produces Template:Release. You can go ahead and edit pretty much anything that isn't protected and doesn't explicitly say not to. Just be careful with high use templates. << Locke(T·C) >> 15:58, November 20, 2012 (CST)

Images from Zelda Wiki

Hey, Mases. Greetings from your old friends at Zelda Wiki. I'm Hylian King, by the way, the wiki's rookie admin. I don't think we got to really know each other well, but we did talk in the ZW chat a bit if you remember.

So anyway, it has come to our attention that one of your users has uploaded quite a few of our images on Zelda Dungeon Wiki and has not sourced them (here are a few examples). I just wanted to make sure the ZD staff was aware of this. It would be much appreciated if we could at least be credited as a source for these images, as Zelda Wiki has always done for ZD's images in the past.

Wiki's looking good, by the way. The progress you guys have made in such a small timeframe is pretty impressive.
