The Goron Mines is the second dungeon in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.  It is located close to the top of Death Mountain, and most of it is actually inside the mountain.  Because it is inside the mountain (which is also an active volcano), much of it is is filled with lava and fire, although there are some room filled with water and also some outdoor areas. The main item in this dungeon is the Bow, but the dungeon also houses two Pieces of Heart, and multiple chests full of rupees. It is unknown exactly what is mined in this area, although it could be iron, because some places are highly magnetic.

Before Link can enter the dungeon, he must defeat one of the goron elders in a sumo wrestling match.  This requires the Iron Boots, which Link acquires from Mayor Bo.  After defeating him twice, the elder allows Link to access the mines, and asks Link to try and figure out what's causing their Patriarch, Darbus, to act insane.  There are three elders in certain rooms of the dungeon, each one keeping a Key Shard safe.  When Link talks to them, they give him the key shards, which form into the Big Key.  Link must also defeat the miniboss, a huge goron who guards the Hero's Bow.

The Goron Mines is the second Dungeon in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. It is located close to the top of Death Mountain, and most of it is actually inside the mountain. Because it is inside the mountain (which is also an active volcano), much of it is filled with lava and fire. Link is searching the Goron Mines in hope of finding the second Fused Shadow. He is told it is in there by the Light Spirit Eldin.

This dungeon houses three of the four Goron Elders. Link is told by Gor Coron that the three elders in the mines hold the three Key Shards, which when combined create the key to the room that Darbus has been locked into. Link travels through the dungeon looking for the three elders. After he finds the second elder, he is told that he needs the Goron Treasure to get to the room Darbus is being hold in. He meets the gaurdian of the treasure, Dangoro, and fights for the right to get the treasure. He wins, and collects the Hero's Bow. He uses the Hero's Bow to find the final Goron Elder. He combines the shards and opens the door to the room where Darbus lies. He will soon find not Darbus, but the dungeon Boss, Fyrus.
