Impa teaching Link the song

Uses

This song is required often throughout the game. The first time you must play it is to gain entrance to Darunia's chambers in Goron City on Death Mountain. The next time is to get through the waterfall outside of Zora's Domain. It is used in the Water Temple to change the level of the water. It is used in the Shadow Temple to start the boat moving. You also are required to play it to summon the Great Fairies in the Great Fairy Fountains.

How to play it

In the original Ocarina of Time game, the song was played by pressing ← ↑ → ← ↑ →.

Now, in Ocarina of Time 3D, it is played using X A Y X A Y.
