Wooden Carvings are rewards of Riddle Quest in Game Boy Advance port of A Link to the Past.

Appearances

A Link to the Past (GBA)

There are three Wooden Carvings that Link can get from Q. Bumpkin after he answers certain questions in Riddle Quest. A woodcarving of Cucco will be placed in Link's House after he solves the first riddle ("Cock-a-doodle-doo!"). A woodcarving of Link will be placed in his house after he solves the fourth riddle ("It's moist and fresh…"). Finally, a woodcarving of Princess Zelda will be placed in his house after he solves the seventh riddle ("It munches on nuts…").

There are few thing that Link can do with these carvings:

  • If Link sprinkles Magic Powder on a carving once, it will begin to sparkle.
  • If Link sprinkles Magic Powder on a carving two times, it will become colored.
  • If Link sprinkles Magic Powder on a carving three times, that carving will switch into an alternate Dark World form.
