In The Adventure of Link a total of four Heart Containers can be found across Hyrule. They will increase your overall life meter a little each time you find one. Below is a listing of all four of the Heart Container's locations, separated by western and eastern sections.
Western Hyrule
Location: Parapa Desert.
Conditions: None.
- Go south from Parapa Palace through a small valley. You will encounter a cutscene where you must jump over water pits and avoid bubbles. The road will lead to a forest with a small area of grass in the middle; walk over the grass to encounter a Goriya and the Heart Container.
Location: Midoro Swamp Cave.
Conditions: After obtaining the Hammer.
- Once you have the Hammer, take out the rock just south of the Town of Rauru. Next, take out the rock blocking the cave to the right and enter the cave. Follow the cave to the end to find the Heart Container.
Eastern Hyrule
Location: North of the Palace on the Sea.
Conditions: After obtaining the Boots.
- After obtaining the Boots go east from Harbor Town of Mido and walk out into the ocean. Once the Palace is visible start trying to walk north. When you are able to walk north, start walking east until you reach a cutscene containing the Heart Container.
Location: East of Three Eye Rock.
Conditions: After obtaining the Flute.
- East of Kasuto are three rocks in a triangular shape. Walk along the southeast coast of this area to find a screen containing the Heart Container.
