The Longshot is an item from Ocarina of Time. The Longshot is an upgraded version of the Hookshot that allows Link to grapple on to targets from farther distances.[2] The Longshot can also be used to reach previously unreachable areas and objects, such as Piece of Hearts, Gold Skulltulas, and more. It is obtainable after defeating Dark Link in the Water Temple. In the Master Quest, the Longshot is found at the beginning of the Water Temple instead of halfway through the dungeon.
