Link Amiibo is a character figurine which was made available on June 23rd, 2017.
Functionality
Link amiibo has functionality in several Legend of Zelda titles.
- Breath of the Wild - Summons Epona. After Link has already summoned Epona, the Amiibo will drop an assortment of fruit, such as Hydromelons, Wildberry, Voltfruit, Palm Fruit, Mighty Bananas, Apples, or Acorns. It will will also drop a treasure chest which could contain items from the Twilight Set, which includes the Cap of Twilight, Tunic of Twilight, and Trousers of Twilight. The treasure chest could also contain a variety of weaponry.
The amiibo has the same identical function in Breath of the Wild as that of the Link amiibo from Super Smash Bros.
