The Hurdy-Gurdy Man is a character Link first encounters in The Minish Cap in Hyrule Town after completing Deepwood Shrine. Link runs into him upon entering Hyrule Town while he is wheeling his cart around speaking about Kinstones. Upon further conversation, he gives Link a Kinstone Bag, free of charge. After receiving the bag, he will give Link his first Kinstone, which he can immediately fuse with him. This opens up a tree in South Hyrule Field containing a Piece of Heart.
