Tears of the Kingdom

Hudson Signs are signs created by Hudson Construction Company in Tears of the Kingdom which Link must help Addison keep upright, earning rewards upon doing so.

81 sign locations exist across Hyrule, each with a slightly different shape and base, making for interesting mini-puzzles throughout the world.

When a signpost is successfully kept upright for a few seconds, Addison rewards Link with a Red Rupee; a dish, usually a Rice Balls dish, often with an effect corresponding to the map location (e.g. Heat Resistance when found in warm areas); and an item from Addison's "personal collection", most often a Puffshroom, Muddle Bud, or Bomb Flower, sometimes even giving out 5 or 10 at a time. If Link's food inventory is full, Addison will give a second Red Rupee instead of a dish.

Upon completion of the final signpost puzzle, Addison will reward Link with the usual three rewards, then notice his job is finished, and thank Link for helping him spread the legend of President Hudson all across the land with Addison's Fabric, though he notes that nobody could love President Hudson as much as he does.

Afterwards, Addison will return to Tarrey Town to tell Hudson the good news; however, upon arrival, Addison is nowhere to be found, presumably fired for being so horrible at his job. When Link next finds himself at a stable after the completion of the Stable Trotters questline, he will find Addison there listening, providing his support by standing as if he were still holding up a sign.
