Tears of the Kingdom

"A Zonai device that can defy gravity and hang in place. Ages ago, the Zonai used this technology to create islands that float in the sky."

— In-game description

When activated, Hover Stones can be manipulated by Ultrahand and remain precisely in place when the Ultrahand grip is released. If Link is the one to activate them (outside of Shrines of Light), they drain his Energy Cell or an attached battery while active. Ihen-a Shrine ("Midair Perch") serves as a training ground for their use.

They can be found in Zonai Capsules from Device Dispensers or Treasure Chests; or floating around in the overworld. If removed from a capsule, they cannot be returned to it, although they can be fused to weapons or shields.
