Gotter is a character from Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom

Breath of the Wild

Gotter can be found at Riverside Stable, where he will request that Link find a recipe from Hyrule Castle, where his ancestor once worked as a chef.

Tears of the Kingdom

Gotter can be found at the Riverside Stable, where initially, he can be seen outside, looking out in the distance towards the southeast. He is expecting guests and is waiting for Agus and the rest of the group to arrive.[1] He mentions that they usually cross the Owlan Bridge, so he's keeping an eye out in that direction.[2] However, it is well past when they were suppose to arrive, so he's worried.[3] He's thinking that perhaps they brought some tents and are taking a nice and slow trip.[4][5]

Gourmets Gone Missing

After speaking with Penn, this will begin the Gourmets Gone Missing quest. Penn mentions that the group was coming to meet Gotter to teach him a recipe that was learned from Princess Zelda. However, the group has not arrived and it is greatly worrying Gotter. Gotter will guide Link towards the nearby Owlan Bridge. After Link crosses the bridge, he'll soon find Agus and his group camped out by the Batrea Lake. After reading Zelda's Recipe, Link can cook up a Meat and Rice Bowl to give to the group. After eating it, they will be back on their feet and will make their way to Riverside Stable. Penn then arrives to reward Link with a Purple Rupee.

Riverside Stable

After completing the Gourmets Gone Missing quest, Gotter will then move around the stable, taking care of the horses and occasionally sitting down by the camp fire. He's grateful that Agus and his friends all arrived safely and is excited to learn how to make the Meat and Rice Bowl.[6] Early in the morning he is waiting for dawn to break when Agus will teach him the recipe.[7]

At 6am each morning, he'll make his way over to the cooking pot to speak with Agus.[8] Agus wakes up around 6am and will make his way over to the cooking pot as well.
