Force Gems don't appear until the middle of Spirit Tracks. They are acquired through various side quests and are used to expand the [[Spirit Tracks]]. Force Gems are a sign of extreme happiness or gratitude, concentrated into a triangle-pyramid shape. Link can gain a total of 20 Force Gems in the game, with two of them being mandatory to finish the game. When Link gains a Force Gem, his Rail Map starts to glow, and the section in which he completed the quest (most of the time) gains a new set of rails, usually leading to a new station or a bunny.
