Farore's Wind is one of the three spells of the goddesses that you receive from the Great Fairies in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The other two spells are: Din's Fire and Nayru's Love. It is probably the most useful spell of the three, as you can use it to return to a point in the dungeon. It is very useful if you are halfway through a dungeon and decide to stop playing for a while, because it allows you to return to that point in the dungeon instead of going back to the start. It also helps if you keep dying at a particular point, and wish to save time getting back to that point.
How to get it
To get this spell, go to Zora's Fountain and swim over behind Jabu-Jabu to a patch of land. There are some boulders here. Throw a bomb at them and the whole wall will collapse. Go through into the Great Fairy Fountain and play Zelda's Lullaby on the Triforce symbol on the ground. The Great Fairy will appear and give you Farore's Wind. Voila!
