Deku Sticks are common items that appear in Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. They are long sticks taken from the Great Deku Tree and are mostly used for lighting torches and burning spiderwebs, as they catch fire when put up against a lit torch.[1][2] They burn out and disappear after a short time, so Link must light whatever he needs before that happens. They can be saved by putting them away before they burn out. The Deku Stick's second use is the same as the swords; they can kill enemies. Variations
Boko Stick
These only appear in The Wind Waker. Link can find them sticking out of some pots or after defeating Boko Babas. Boko Sticks are known to be used as weapons by Bokoblins. Boko Sticks have the same function as Deku Sticks.
