The Ballad of the Wind Fish is a song in Link's Awakening that you must have to complete the game. You learn it by simply talking to Marin in Mabe Village after getting the Ocarina in the Dream Shrine. After getting all of the eight instruments of the sirens , you must play this song in front of the Wind Fish's Egg on Mt. Tamaranch to awaken him.
