Link's Awakening

The Ball and Chain Trooper is a rare enemy, found only once in Kanalet Castle. You need to defeat him because he guards one of the golden leaves that you must retrieve. He can be a difficult enemy because of his long range weapon. Before attacking, he will swing the ball and chain above his head slightly faster than normal. It is best to move in to attack him as soon as he pulls back his weapon. You may find that the spin attack is an effective strategy, since you have plenty of time to charge it while waiting for him to attack.
