Gyorgs are enemies from The Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass. They are a shark-like enemy with strong rock covering its head. The rock makes it impervious until it attacks. Once the Gyorg jumps out of the water, a cannon blast will do it in. The Gyorg is one of the toughest enemies on the Ocean.
The Wind Waker
Gyorg are only found in the Great Sea. They will swim along with Link and jump up into the air to turn around and attack. They are easily taken care of with two hits from the boomerang or by jumping over them when they charge towards Link.
Phantom Hourglass
Gyorg are some of the more challenging enemies that Link encounters on sea. They appear in the later half of the game, first making an appearance when Link enters the Southeastern Quadrant. They appear near Harrow Island and will always appear in groups of three. Gyorg are more frequently found in the Northeastern Quadrant. They will circle around Linebeck's Ship, and will eventually charge towards the ship. Link must hop up to avoid this attack. When a Gyorg jumps out of the water, they become vulnerable to Link's Cannon, so do just that to defeat them.
