"You caught a worm in a bottle! Fish love these! Set the fishing rod and worm to [Y] and [X] and use the worm to bait the rod.[1]"
Worms are creatures that make their one and only appearance in Twilight Princess. They can be found on the ground after Link has defeated a Bombskit, or underneath Ordon Pumpkins. They can be collected by using an Empty Bottle. They can be used as bait,[1] but are far inferior to the Bee Larvae that's also available. Odds of attracting Fish, including a Hyrule Bass, and greatly lowered if Link uses the Worm instead of the Bee Larvae.
Trivia
- The best way to collect a Worm in Twilight Princess is actually to kill a Bombskit, which are mainly found in Hyrule Field. They will leave behind a Worm.
