Gibdo are one of the common enemies in The Legend of Zelda series, as they have appeared in nearly every Zelda game to date. They are mummy-type enemies.

In A Link to the Past, Gibdo appear in the Skull Woods dungeon. They are easily defeated using the Fire Rod.

Majora's Mask
In Majora's Mask, Gibdos appear in Ikana Canyon surrounding the music box house and Beneath the Well. They use a horrifying glare to paralyze Link and then grab him, dealing heavy damage. When hit by a Fire Arrow they become Redeads.

The Minish Cap
In The Minish Cap, gibdos appear in the Royal Crypt and in the Palace of Winds. They attack by running up to Link and crushing him. If Link uses the Lantern to burn their rags off, they turn into a Blue Stalfos.
