Shmid is a character found in Tears of the Kingdom.
Tears of the Kingdom
Shmid is a Goron who works at one of the stores at the YunoboCo Mineral Market. The prices at the market are half off the prices that you'd find elsewhere in Hyrule.[1][2]
Shmid sells 3 shards of Flint for 10 Rupees each. They are able to sell the Flint for cheap as YunoboCo handles all the mining themselves nearby.[3]
Due to being an aged Goron, he is unable to eat Marbled Rock Roast, hence avoiding its malicious influence. He takes note the absence of Bladon, a younger Goron meant to be stationed alongside him selling Rubies.[4]
Shmid always warns Link that some younger Gorons are trying to take advantage of Hylians like Link, by charging them way too much. He warns Link to be careful and watch out for himself.[5]
