Galli is a character in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

Galli runs the Rito Stable, found just east of Rito Village. He runs both the Stable and the Inn along with Ariane. When talking to Galli from outside, Link can take a horse, board a horse, or register a new horse.[1] From the inside of the stable, Link can talk to Galli to rent out a bed. Galli offers two types of beds, a regular bed for 20 rupees, and a Soft Bed for 40 rupees.[2]

Tears of the Kingdom

Galli can be found at the Lucky Clover Gazette, where the Rito Stable was once located. When he introduces Link, he first mentions that he is at Rito Stable, before correcting himself.[3] He mentions that after the Blizzard hit Rito Village, business completely froze up at the stable, along with the rest of Hebra, so he closed up the stable and the Lucky Clover Gazette bought the place.[4] He's not involved with the newspaper business and tells Link to talk to somebody inside for more information regarding the newspaper.[5][6]

Galli now just does some odd jobs around the area, such as chopping and collecting Wood. He has messed around a bit with Hylian Pine Cones, which has created some trouble at the stable.[7][8] Ever since the Upheaval, Hylian Pine Cones have become abundant in the area. They have oil inside, which when tossed on a fire, will create a massive whirlwind. It created such a blaze that it sent all of the newly printed newspapers flying far away.[9][10][11]

  4. "This place was once a stable. And I was once its owner. But when that terrible cold wave rolled in, it froze up our business along with the rest of Hebra. Which is why the stable is closed and the Lucky Clover Gazette has bought out the old space. I don't have anywhere else to go, so I thought I'd try to help out around here. Not that I'm much good at it. I just learned the terrifying way what happens when you burn a Hylian pine cone..." — Galli, Tears of the Kingdom

  9. "Perhaps due to the abnormal weather, there's been an explosive increase in Hylian pine cones. They're oily on the inside and burn really well. Too well, in fact. I tossed one onto the fire for kindling, and the force with which it burned whipped up a whirlwind! Which in turn sent all of the freshly printed newspapers flying far, far away... If you find a Hylian pine cone of your own, whatever you do, don't throw it in a fire!" — Galli, Tears of the Kingdom
