The Song of Light is a song featured in Spirit Tracks. Link learns it at the Trading Post. After traversing through a cave filled with Like Likes, Link can find the song stone in the northwest corner of the area that will teach him the notes. He can then use it to shoot a beam of light out of a hidden diamond, which will show him the location of a switch that can be hit with his Boomerang to create a bridge. These diamonds are found in many other puzzles as well, both in the trading post and other areas.
