Shops are areas where Link can purchase items for Rupees. Shops are in every Zelda game to date. Occasionally, shopkeepers try to sell Link items that can be found elsewhere. For example, a Zora tries to sell a very expensive fish-- something that can be caught in a bottle in bodies of water -- in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
