Romanos is a character from Phantom Hourglass who resides on Molida Island with his mother. Romanos father, the Old Wayfarer, left him and his mother to go exploring and looking for adventure and the romance of the seas. Romanos, unlike his mother, has been unable to forgive his father for this.

When Link first meets Romanos, and asks him about the whereabouts of his father, he gets angry and asks Link to leave. But when Link truly tries to leave, Romanos calls him back, and then gives the hero clues on how to find his father's hideout.

After Link completes the Temple of Courage Romanos will open a Shooting Gallery, where Link can win both a Heart Container and a Large Quiver.
