Breath of the Wild

Rik is a Hylian traveler that travels between the Wetland Stable and Kakariko Village.

Tears of the Kingdom

Rik is a member of the Zonai Survey Team and can be found at the Wetland Stable where he sits out by the campfire. While he is sitting around, he talks about wanted to head towards Kakariko Village to check out the Ring Ruins.[1] Rik will give Link some directions towards Kakariko Village, telling Link to just head south from the stable. At the crossroad, Link can turn and head towards the mountains. With the Ring Ruins in the distance, Link can use them as a landmark to find his way.[2]

Rik will comment about the Ring Ruins, mentioning that Zonai Ruins have been found all over the world since the Upheaval. The Ring Ruins are named for their distinctive circular shapes. Rik also mentions that some of the stone slabs found have words like Sage and Demon King carved in Zonai Script. The leader of the research team is the best in the world at deciphering Zonai Script and is heading up the investigation in person.[3] Rik thinks he should get going but seems to be paranoid that he's going to get lost. He keeps running the directions through his head.[4]
