The Life Tree Fruit is a quest item from Skyward Sword. A round fruit carried by the fully-grown Life Tree Seedling, Life Tree Fruit cures any and all illnesses inflicted on whomever consumes it. Link must bring one to Lanayru in order to cure the fatal illness preventing him from singing his part of the Song of the Hero. Before the hero can cure the ancient Thunder Dragon, he must go back to the past and plant the Life Tree Seedling. Upon returning to the present, he finds that the tree has grown producing a single Life Tree Fruit. If Link takes this fruit to the fatally ill Lanayru, it will instantly cure him. This will allow him access to the Thunder Dragon's Lightning Round and the part of the Song of the Hero.
