The Hyrule Herb is a type of plant and material found in Breath of the Wild. They tend to grow all over the place, for example by the outer walls of the Great Plateau. This plant will restore 1 heart if eaten raw, and cannot be cooked by itself. Instead, Link should use this in combination with other ingredients to make a more substantial meal, and using the Hyrule Herb will increase the amount of hearts said meal will restore. Alternatively, they can be sold to shop-vendors all over Hyrule for 3 Rupees each.
