Heart-Pounding Gravedigging Tour

The Heart-Pounding Gravedigging Tour is a mini-game in Ocarina of Time. It is hosted by Dampé and is located in Kakariko Graveyard. It can only be played in the past. The rewards Link receives upon completing the mini-game includes Rupees, and a Piece of Heart.

How to find

This minigame can only be played in the past. Dampe will walk around the Graveyard in Kakariko Village, but only at certain times. A notice just outside the graveyard says:

"Heart Pounding Grave-digging Tour! From 18:00 to 21:00 Hyrule Time."

At other times Dampe will be sleeping in his hut. Because the Sun's Song will transport you to 0:00 or 12:00, you have to wait a bit in Hyrule Field until the wolf howls, then enter Kakariko Village to stop time. From there you can go to the Graveyard, and find Dampe walking around. Talk to him to play.

How to play

Talk to Dampe the Gravedigger to play. He will ask you if you want to lay his Gravediggin Tour for 10 rupees. If you pay he will dig right in front of him. He will even try to dig the pavement, so it's up to you to make sure you only talk to him while he's in front of a patch of soft soil. If you time it correctly, he will dig the soil, and a random reward will come out. There are various Rupees, but the main reward is a Piece of Heart. Because the prizes are completely random, you will just have to try a few times, however although you have to pay for every dig, the rupees will often make the game actually profitable.
