Eox, Ancient Stone Soldier is the boss of Mutoh's Temple, the final dungeon in Phantom Hourglass.

Strategy

Avoid this boss's pounding as well as fire from the turrets jutting out of his neck. Run to the one of the four catapults in the room and hit it with the Hammer in order to propel Link up into the air. Repeatedly strike the ten red bolts on his body. In the next stage, hit the four spots on his body until they turn blue. This must be completed in one go or else they will reset to red. Once the giant collapses, whack the blue crystal on his head with the hammer. Repeat this until he is defeated.

Upon Eox's defeat, Link will obtain a Heart Container and gain access to King Mutoh's tomb, where he will receive the Aquanine.
