The Emerald Tablet is given to Link by Fi, after Link acquires the Goddess Sword Inside the Statue of the Goddess. Once placed in position, the Emerald Tablet will cause a beam of light to appear beneath the clouds, leaving an entrance to the Faron region of the game.
