Deku Seeds can be bought in stores or found after defeating enemies, such as Deku Babas. They are used as ammunition for Link's Slingshot.

Skyward Sword

The Deku Seeds return again as the ammunition for Link's Slingshot or Scattershot. Throughout Skyward Sword, Link can upgrade his Seed Satchel so that he can carry additional Deku Seeds.
