Deku Butler

The Deku Butler is a minor character from Majora's Mask located in the Deku Shrine next to the palace. He will ask Link to follow him because he has a gift for him, but he has to keep up because he is quick ( Much like Dampé the Grave Keeper in Ocarina of Time). If Link manages to stay with him, he will be rewarded with the Mask of Scents.

The Deku Butler also mentions that Link reminds him of his son, but that he was lost a long while ago. It is heavily implied that the sad looking tree in the beginning of the game is the Butler's son.
