The Blue Mail is found in the Ice Palace in A Link to the Past. It is the second garment that Link wears, and it reduces damage by 50% compared to the Green Jerkin. It is also said to keep adventurers warm. Once obtained, it turns Link's hat yellow. Though the Blue Mail is not required to complete the game, it helps considerably with the rest of the game. Later, Link finds the Red Mail in Ganon's Tower, which replaces the Blue Mail.

A Link Between Worlds

The Blue Mail is found in the Swamp Palace in A Link Between Worlds. It is the second garment that Link wears, and it reduces damage by 50% compared to the Green Tunic.
