The Ancient Cuirass is a chest armor found in Breath of the Wild. It has a base defense of 4 and decreases damage taken from Guardian laser attacks.
Armor Set
The Ancient Set (also including Ancient Helm and Ancient Greaves) increases damage done to Guardians, when all equipped pieces have been upgraded at least twice.
Upgrade path
Upgrading Armor requires that you have unlocked as many Great Fairy Fountain as the desired star-level.
