Toppo are hare-like enemies that live in the Great Swamp in A Link to the Past.

In the Great Swamp region of the Light World, Link found many foes hiding in the tall grasses. One of the inhabitants of this region is a jumping hare that hoards items called Toppo. Link learned to cut the grass beneath a hare when it jumped up, then capture it. These Toppo, once caught, gave Link all its worldly belongings, including Rupees and other cheap items. Later in his journey, however, Link found that all the hares were gone. No one knew where they went.

When caught they respond, "All right! Take it, thief!"
