The Shooting Gallery is a minigame foind in many Zelda titles. Its first appearance was in A Link to the Past, but has become more noticeable since the series jumped to 3D.
In Ocarina of Time, the shooting gallery is located in the Market, but moves to Kakariko Village after Ganondorf's takeover. It costs 20 Rupees to play. To win, Link must successfully shoot all ten Rupees with fifteen shots. If Link at least hits eight Rupees, he gets another free retry. As a child, using the Fairy Slingshot, he must hit every single Rupee. He will receive a large Deku Seed bag, and successive wins will grant him 50 Rupees. As an adult, using the Bow and Arrow, the prize is a large Quiver, allowing Link to hold up to 40 arrows, but Adult Link can also play before he gets the Fairy Bow from the Forest Temple, although he will only win 50 Rupees for completing it.
