Flame Fountain is a trap that has appeared in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening.
Appearances
Link's Awakening
There is only one Flame Fountain in the game, and it blocks Link's way to the eighth and final dungeon, Turtle Rock. This trap is a flame thrower that will harm Link by continuously spitting out fire. To pass it, Link must walk up the screen and pull out his Mirror Shield. The Mirror Shield will allow him to reflect the flames that are shooting towards him. He must hold the shield as he walks up until he gets past the Flame Fountain.
