Anson is a character found in Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom

Anson can be found at Lookout Landing and is curious about the Zonai Devices. He works for Purah and has the utmost respect for his boss, referring to her as a creative genius.[1] Anson continues his research down in the Emergency Shelter, beneath Lookout Landing.

Anson can later be found in the Emergency Shelter. He's wondering that since this was once the Royal Family's Shelter, there probably is a hidden pathway.[2] After Link has cleared one of the dungeons as part of the Regional Phenomena quest, he can return to the Emergency Shelter to find that Jerrin has busted a whole in the wall while sleeping. Anson can be found standing outside the hole, wondering where it leads to.[3] He imagines that it is quite deteriorated in there, but wants to know where it leads.[4]

When a part of the Zonai Ruins falls into Lookout Landing, Anson can be found in front of it, upset that people are standing by looking at it. He wants to take it down to prevent it from falling and injuring someone. He is, however, prevented from doing so due to the people investigating it.

  1. "So those balloon things that fell from the sky are called Zonai devices... There's still so much we don't know about them. But trust my boss, Purah, to take a thing we know so little about and turn it into something useful. She's the sharpest person in Hyrule-a creativeegenius!" — Anson, Tears of the Kingdom
  2. "How odd... This place was the royal family's shelter, so they'd probably have a hidden pathway. Even so..." — Anson, Tears of the Kingdom
  3. "So there was a path after all. I figured if this is the royal family's emergency shelter, there would be a path that leads to here. So if you follow it, then..." — Anson, Tears of the Kingdom
  4. "I bet it's deteriorated pretty badly in there... Just strolling on in is probably a bad idea. Still, I'm dying to know if it leads to where I think it does." — Anson, Tears of the Kingdom
