The Wolfos is an enemy that appears in Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask.

Wolfos
Draw it close to you and watch
its movement carefully! Attack it
when it drops its guard!

In Ocarina of Time Wolfos are not a very common enemy, only appearing three times. They are found in the Sacred Forest Meadow, the Forest Temple, and in the Gerudo Training Ground. They will try to swipe at Link, but if he jumps out of the way they will swing themselves around, resulting in a chance for Link to kill them with a perfectly timed Jump Attack to the tail.

Another version of the Wolfos known as the White Wolfos appears in cold areas.

So you don't know about the
Wolfos? Lure it in and watch its
movements. It doesn't like its tail
to be touched...
