The Adventure of Link is the only game in The Legend of Zelda series to feature Magic Containers, which increase the amount of Magic Link can hold, similarly to Heart Containers. There are four Magic Containers found in the game, and they are all required to complete the game.

Magic Container #1

Location: Southwest of the North Palace

The first Magic Container in the game is found in a cave which is southwest of the North Palace. It can be accessed from the beginning of the game, but it is too dark to see. The Candle, which can be found in Parapa Palace, can be used to light up the cave, allowing Link to see the enemies. There are plenty of Octoroks inside the cave, which can easily be killed with Link's sword. At the end of the cave, there is the first Magic Container for Link to collect.

Magic Container #2

Location: Spectacle Rock

The second Magic Container can be found at the top of Death Mountain, on Spectacle Rock. Once Link has acquired the Hammer, he can use it to smash in the rock which is found on Spectacle Rock. This reveals a hole, which Link can fall into. At the bottom of the hole, there is the second Magic Container.

Magic Container #3

Location: Maze Island

The third Magic Container can be found on Maze Island. There is a faulty spot in the path which will cause Link to fall into a pit. This trap can be found on the western side of the island. From the entrance, head down, and then left at the first fork, right at the second fork, and then follow the path to a stepladder which connects two pieces of land. Head to the other side, and take the first left. Following this path will lead Link to the trap, which reveals the Magic Container.

Magic Container #4

Location: Hidden Town of Kasuto

The fourth and final Magic Container can be acquired in the Hidden Town of Kasuto. Here, there is an old lady who asks Link if he has seven Magic Containers. If Link does, she tells him he deserves her help, and leads him into her house. Within her basement, Link can find the fourth and final Magic Container.
