Place Tail Key in to unlock Tail Cave

The Tail Keyhole, also known as Tale Keyhole or Tale Cave Gate, is an object found in Link's Awakening.

Overview

The Tail Keyhole is located just outside of the Tail Cave. Link can insert the Tail Key into the keyhole to unlock the entrance of the dungeon.

Naming

In Link's Awakening and Link's Awakening DX, the keyhole was referred to as the Tale Keyhole, but was changed to the Tail Keyhole in the 2019 remake.[1][2]
