Stals are enemies from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.

A Link to the Past
Stals are enemies that look like a skull. They appear all over the Dark World overworld. They look exactly like other skulls found in the Dark World and blend in with them. When Link comes into contact with one, they will flash and come to life and try to attack Link.
