Madam MeowMeow (Owner)

The two Small Chain Chomps are Chain Chomps owned by Madam MeowMeow in Link's Awakening. Unlike BowWow, they remain inside of Madam MeowMeow's House, each of them in a different room.

First Small Chain Chomp

The first Small Chain Chomp is located in the left side of the building, in a room with Madam MeowMeow. He spends his time wandering around the room and yipping at strangers.[1]

Second Small Chain Chomp

The second small Chain Chomp is named YipYip. She is capable of speech and plays a role in the Trading Sequence. She is found in the right room of Madam MeowMeow's House by herself. She loves fashion and make-up and greatly wants some more accesories.[2] When Link brings her the Ribbon from Papahl's Wife, she asks if he will trade it to her.[3] If he refuses, she becomes upset and calls him "the worst".[4] However, if he accepts, she gives him the Dog Food.[5][6] From then on, she can be seen wearing the ribbon.
