Shad's Father
Shad's Father is a character mentioned in Twilight Princess. He is the father of Shad, a member of The Resistance. Shad's Father died before the game's story takes place, thus is never seen in-game. During his lifetime, he worked as a butler with the Royal Family of Hyrule.[1] He also was very interested in the myserious City in the Sky. He worked hard trying to find the secrets the floating city held, making numerous manuscripts and notes that he later gave to his son.[2][3][4] These notes and manuscripts contained information on the Sky Cannon,[5] Sky Writing,[4] and Owl Statues.[2] Shad also has a great interest in the City in the Sky and its inhabitants,[6] the Oocca, which he likely got from his father.
Although never reaching his goal of finding the City in the Sky, Shad's Father passed on enough information to Shad to help Link and Shad discover the deepest secrets relating to the City in the Sky.
