The Sand Cicada is a collectible insect found in Skyward Sword. They are fairly rare and found only in Lanayru Desert. They are found on walls and emit a loud noise. Link can capture them with his Bug Net, but it requires a very slow approach to be successful otherwise they will fly away. They are used in upgrading Potions, specifically the Heart Potion and Revitalizing Potion.
