The Sailcloth is an off-white sheet with a blue Loftwing symbol on the front. Zelda, one of the students at the Knight Academy and daughter to Gaepora, one of the headmasters, wears this as a shawl. Link receives this as a prize after winning the Bird Riding Ceremony. The uses of the Sailcloth are simple. Link can use it to safely navigate his way to the surface of the many islands around Skyloft, or when swan diving into one of the three provinces.
