In A Link Between Worlds, a descendant of Sahasrahla appears and bears the same name. Sahasrahla serves as an old wise man and tells Link of the events from A Link to the Past. After learning that Yuga is hunting down the descendants of the Seven Sages, he tells Link of his apprentice, Osfala, who is always a descendant. He asks Link to go look for him at the Eastern Palace.
