The Professor is a character from Majora's Mask and is the parallel to the Lake Scientist from Ocarina of Time.
Marine Research Lab
The Professor spends his time in the game tending to his laboratory located in the waters of Great Bay Coast, right off the shore. He is the caretaker of Zora Eggs laid by Lulu, keeping a watchful eye over them to allow them to thrive. These eggs must be kept inside the aquarium in order to keep them at a certain temperature.
When Link recovers the Zora Eggs from the Pirates' Fortress, they must be dumped into the aquarium at the Marine Research Lab.
