Template:Item The Mysterious Crystals is an item in Skyward Sword. It works as a Boss Key to open up the door leading to the Boss of the Fire Sanctuary, Ghirahim. As a large mass of glowing square crystals, it can be turned around until it matches up with the lock on the door and opens it.[1] In order to obtain it, Link must solve a puzzle in which he needs to dig underground with the Mogma Mitts and crawl over small pads that light up bird-like statues in a specific order.[2] After they are all lit, a gate opens and releases a Moldorm that Link needs to defeat to exit the underground passage. He can then find the Mysterious Crystals in a Treasure Chest.
